Food good need more staff or better staff one. Waited for everything and didn't get everything that was ordered.

My husband and I ride motorcycles with my father-in-law and friends. Many times when we go on a ride we end our day with an exceptional meal here. We love so many things on this menu. The unfortunate truth is their tacos are not one of the best things. They don't season the meat when cooking it at all. The brown it and place it in the taco with cheese and lettuce, tomato and sour cream on the side. I would be happier with their tacos if they had a taco seasoning in their meat. Other than that, their service is typically on point and so is most of the rest of their menu. Shout out to their totchos! Those are the absolutely best thing!!! Definitely addicted to them.

Great food and drink with a good atmosphere

I came in today to eat lunch sat down was never greeted finally got tired of waiting got up and walked out. I saw several waitresses walking around but they could never wait on me.

Nice atmosphere. I ordered tacos. Wasn't great,but it wasn't terrible. I've had the chicken sandwich before and really enjoyed it.

Tables were full of stuff. No one was cleaning. Only 3 waitress. No one even spoke or tried to help us. Been here a couple times....its always the same. Time to not stop here.

I should have known better.. Once I walked in on a Monday Night Football night and the place is over half empty, I should have known. But I had just drove into town and was staying at a nearby hotel, so why not?Well, after getting a drink pretty quickly, I sat and sat and sat and sat.... Just waiting on anyone to glance my way. To see if I wanted another drink, or food, or anything. They never did. I paid $7 for my $6.98 drink and left.

Why do you have bartenders coming in on company time and in uniform and refusing to do their job and sitting around drinking alcohol. The bartender I'm speaking of is Mai Sullivan. The day was Wednesday the 29th during the evening shift. You would be able to see it on camera.

There's never a wait, which is....a good thing? Food was ok, steaks were a little thick.

Had a good time enjoyed dinner with some friends that came in from out of town

Ordered a B.BQ. sandwich with fries and a beer. The B.B.Q. sandwich was full of flavour and the sauce was great and also full of flavour. They have Shiner Bock which is an amazing beer and some cool classic motorcycles on display inside the restaurant. It's right next to the Harley-Davidson dealership and walking distance from the best hotels in the city. The staff was friendly but it took a quite while to get my first beer and menu, I had almost changed my mind after about 15 minutes of no interaction with staff but once I ordered the food arrived pretty quickly and as I said it was delicious and the prices were not bad either.

Pretty much fried everything type food. It's off the hwy, you can see it as you drive by. definitely for large groups large space. Very clean in there. A bit pricey, but worth it, becuz portion is pretty large. You won't be disappointed. Mostly female staff, it's a biker bar.

We always come to Iron Thunder and love their specials, especially the $5.00 Fridays. But why did you take away the French fries from the hot wings special? That's ridiculous. I understand cut back but how much can it be to add fries too an order of 6 wings. Really bad decision.Responding to reply: I never complained about your staff or servers. We normally get really good service when we are there. I was complaning about how the menu was changed up and that I didn't see any mention of the fries not being included on the new menu and that I was not happy about it. So please don't tell me that I've complained about any of your servers or staff, I was putting out my opinion of the changes that management made to the menu.

Update: Because my comment didn't come through before. I'm a LONG TIME customer of Thunder- we are talking 5+ years. And at first really it was all good. The boneless wings were my fav. the girls were so nice. And then, I'm not sure what happened Turnover seems to have risen, and the new waitresses just don't care. I worked in service, so I get it, stuff happens you have bad days. But that isn't what is happening- the servers care more about their guy friends and sitting with regulars than taking care of tables, food is hit or miss. usually more a miss. It honestly BREAKS MY HEART- because I LOVED coming here. It was a go to no questions asked, the one place my friends and I always wanted to go to. And now, if it's suggested we make jokes about bringing our own drinks so we have one, make sure we have time because it takes so long to get orders even when there is hardly anyone in the restaurant.

Good food. Gracious portions for the money.. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is a must if you have never had one.

We didn't get a chance to eat here the last time and weren't impressed the time before. Went for lunch and headed to the bar. The bartender and waitresses were chatting with guys in a booth and said they'd be over shortly. After 15 minutes we got up and left since we only have an hour for break. I won't even attempt to go back to this place again.

Thursday night, about 10 oclock. Not busy, very few people there. During summer its bike night with quiet a croud.

We go to this place 3-4 times a year. We went again on July 27, 2018 and the restaurant/bar was packed. It was Friday night Karaoke and people were having a good time. Our server, Megan, had a lot of tables to manage but she did a great job taking care of us. She was very pleasant and personable. She checked back with us frequently without being obtrusive, and she was quick to handle our requests. The food is always excellent, the place is clean, there are always lots of activities, and it is a really fun time to hang out. There are a lot of Friday night food specials going on between 5-9pm. The quality of the food is superb. This place is considered a biker bar, and although I am a biker, its a fun/safe place to take your family.

I ordered a chicken sandwich which I asked the waitress if it was spicy and her answer was no. I have had three stomach surgeries and can't have spicy things. I got got the sandwich and sure enough it was very spicy. I asked her to take it back because, again, I can not eat spicy foods. The cook tried to charge me extra for sending it back and said I would be charged for it and what ever else I ordered. I told them no thanks and refused to pay for the sandwich and fries. I said I would only pay for my drink. After twenty minutes of arguing I finally just left and haven't been there since. I didn't pay for the sandwich but only paid for my drink.

A wonderful place for all kinds of people. Music is great, food is on point, the ladies are extremely nice and the atmosphere is that of a zen garden with motorcycles

This place confuses me. It is located next door to the largest HD dealership in the area yet they seem to push bikers away at worse & not really promote that relationship at worst.. The food is average. Your experience will depend upon the server you get as they are definitely not all equal.

This chicken sandwich is ENORMOUS!!! my sandwich was absolutely delicious as well.

I have eaten here since I started riding motorcycles 4 years ago I've never been disappointed. Well now me and the guys I work with go here for lunch every Friday and let me tell you our waitress Rebecca Leanne is AMAZING shes always on her toes and is quick and efficient at her job. Not a single time have we ever had to wait for drinks or to place our order she is awesome even when crowded about checking our drinks and making sure we have what we need. I highly recommend this place the food is always great and so is the wait staff. And again rebecca is an amazing waitress that girl deserves a raise or promotion or somthing shes got my vote and I'll keep asking for her as my waitress when we go there for lunch.

In my most recent attendance to iron thunder in hickory, Abbie S was my server and hands down I received the best experience I’ve received from the service industry I can say since about 10 full years. If you decide to stop in and have an absolute blast ask for Abbie. She’s phenomenal not to mention the physical attributes 😍 as well as an extremely adorable personality. Hickory is a good meeting place for my traditional birthday dinner with my parents. I decided to try Iron Thunder. Big mistake! We met there at 4pm. My dad told the waitress it was my birthday. Usually at most restaurants this means the embarrassing song and a cupcake. Here there was nothing. I ordered the 18oz ribeye. I would say I would be pushing it to estimate it at about 12oz. It was not even 1/2" thick. Honestly it looked like the steak you get at a waffle house. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium well. It was almost cold. It was not tender. My dad ordered the steak strips rare and they came out well done and very tough. My wife ordered fish and it was way over cooked. My son and mother ordered burgers and they said they were good. Music was way too loud for the amount of people there. It took over 20 minutes for our order get to our table. I was embarrassed that I picked this place. Next year we'll go somewhere else.
